“They’re Coming For The Suburbs"! That’s what some have been saying after the White House released their Federal Housing Supply Action Plan.
According to commentator Laura Ingraham, “How will this be done? Through a federal power grab essentially, an aggressive federal intervention in local politics — a plan to pressure cities and other localities to relax zoning restrictions that prevent the construction of, let's say, a tenement in the middle of a single-family home neighborhood.”
According to the White House, “Under the Plan, the Administration will: Reward jurisdictions that have reformed zoning and land-use policies with higher scores in certain federal grant processes, for the first time at scale.”
