Father's Day Battle - Johnson vs Nixon

President Lyndon Johnson signed Proclamation 3730 on June 15, 1966, to give official recognition of Father's Day.

In 1972, Richard Nixon signed Proclamation 4054 on May 19, 1971, making Father's Day a federal holiday.
